Salt River Float Trip
The Salt River is a cold spring creek that runs through Star Valley and joins the Snake River in the town of Alpine, Wy. There is a large population of fine-spotted and Yellowstone cutthroat, Brown, and Rainbow trout. The Salt River is a great trout stream for beginners new to the sport as well as advanced and expert anglers looking for a new challenge.
Trip is 6-8 hours. Drive time from Jackson to the put in is approx 45 minutes
Includes all flyfishing gear needed, catered shore lunch, beverages, snacks, and fishing instruction.
Stonefly guides can pick you up at your home or hotel, and drop you off at the end of the day, or meet you at the boat ramp, and arrangements will be made to have your vehicle shuttled to the takeout so it’s waiting for you when we are done.
